Board and Organizational Development

Many organizations are seeking ways to enhance the effectiveness of their boards and the overall operation. Patouillet Consulting works with numerous educational institutions and community based non profit organizations on program audits, strategic planning, budgeting, staffing models, volunteer and performance management as well as fund development. Recent organizational development assignments include UMass Lowell, Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta, Technical College System of Georgia, Georgia Center for Nonprofits and the University of Tennessee.

At USF, Pitt and UF, Patouillet worked with the alumni and university leadership to outline board member expectations, clarify the role of board and staff, establish transparent reports on the financial health of the respective organizations and create a variety of self-assessment instruments.

Amy Crownover, Director of Development, Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta (RRISA)

“Patouillet Consulting energized our staff retreat and engaged us all in developing takeaways to implement back at work. From the first phone call, Lee knew what our organization needed better than we did, and he designed the right training for the time that we had available. Lee and Mary combined an excitement for our mission with the level of expertise we needed to move past team building and get some real ideas on paper.”

Lisa Jones, Executive Director, HouseProud Atlanta

“Dr. Patouillet recently completed a workshop for our small nonprofit around resource development and fundraising. His ideas were fresh and innovative, and he re-energized our already hardworking board. He helped us to look at resource development from a new perspective, and allowed board and staff to begin charting a new path. I highly recommend his services!”

The Rev. Dr. Stephens G. Lytch, Director of Development, World Communion of Reformed Churches
