Executive Biography

Mary Patouillet co-founded Patouillet Consulting, LLC, with her husband Lee Patouillet, Ph.D., in 1983. She possesses an extensive background in writing, healthcare, communications and higher education.

In her role as executive vice president and COO, she handles day-to-day administration of the firm, including all marketing and communication. She serves as editor of “Advancement and Nonprofit News and Views,” an e-newsletter distributed to more than 2,500 advancement professionals around the globe. Patouillet also develops proposals, conducts workshops and provides onsite consulting for select clients.

PCLLC enjoys the involvement and support of a national advisory board comprised of industry leaders who represent more than 450 years of experience. This is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the firm. A growing number of advisory board members also consult for PCLLC, which broadens the firm’s scope and expertise.

Patouillet works with prospective clients to assemble the right team to address the specific needs of an institution or organization. The firm’s acceptance rate on proposals exceeds 70 percent. PCLLC’s custom approach has led to a very high level of customer satisfaction as reflected in client comments, testimonials and multiple engagements with the same client. PCLLC became a full-time venture in December 2010. Since this time, PCLLC has grown from 17 clients in 2011 to 34 clients in 2012.

Patouillet has three degrees from the University of South Florida, including a bachelor’s in mass communications, a bachelor’s in nursing, and a master’s in guidance and counseling.
