1. Patouillet Consulting, LLC (PCLLC) established in 1983 has collaborated with more than 50 clients over the past two years. The firm enjoys extensive experience in strategic planning , advancement/alumni association reviews, metrics and the integration of alumni and development in capital campaigns.

2. Patouillet Consulting, LLC enjoys the involvement and support of a national advisory board comprised of industry leaders with more than 500 years of collective experience in the field. Many of these advisory board members also serve as consultants on select assignments. This business model allows PCLLC to offer quality consulting services at a reasonable cost. The advisory board which serves as a “Think Tank” is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the firm.

3. Dr. Lee Patouillet, president of the firm, enjoys more than 30 years of full-time institutional advancement experience. He worked at the University of South Florida, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Florida from 1978 to 2010.  Patouillet served as the chief alumni relations officer and a member of the senior leadership team that directed all aspects of advancement at these institutions. At Pitt and Florida, he was part of the senior staff that directed two billion dollar plus capital campaigns.  As of July 1, 2013, Dr. Patouillet assumed the role of Associate Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, one of his alma maters. He is part of a team dedicated to the university’s journey to become a top 25 public research institution by 2020. Ms. Mary Patouillet, Lee’s wife and co-founder of the company, serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the firm.  Dr. Patouillet works with a select number of clients each year.

5. Ms. Mary Patouillet serves as the editor of Advancement and Nonprofit News and Views, an electronic newsletter highlighting timely information and key trends in the field. This publication is sent to more than 3,000 advancement professionals around the globe.

6  Dr. Patouillet is recognized as a leading researcher in the field of advancement and enjoys an excellent working knowledge of best practice. Patouillet was asked by the President of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) to serve as a charter member of The International Journal of Educational Advancement Editorial Board.  He recently co-authored a chapter for CASE on the role of alumni associations in capital campaigns.

7.  Dr. Patouillet is a charter member of the Council of Alumni Association Executives (CAAE) and delivered one of the two keynote addresses at their 20th Anniversary Meeting. Patouillet has delivered more than 20 presentations at CASE and CAAE meetings and is a frequent contributor to CURRENTS.

8.   Dr. Patouillet is recognized as a leader in strategic planning. One of the plans he facilitated at Pitt received the CASE Gold Medal and was used by Harvard’s Business School as a model of effective planning.

9.  Dr. Patouillet chaired the CASE Conference for Senior Alumni Relations Professonals and co-chaired the CASE Conference on Strategic Planning.  He knows what works and what doesn’t in the field. of advancement. The organizations led by Patouillet have received more than 10 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards.

10.  Dr. Patouillet earned a Ph.D. in the field of higher education administration from the University of Pittsburgh. His doctoral dissertation focused on alumni association member attitudes toward giving and university life. Dr. Patouillet completed the first comprehensive study on the correlation between annual giving and membership dues.
